The Weekly...Rhubarb Fest!


We're big into festivals here in Lanesboro-- and the Rhubarb Festival is one of the biggest! Come to hear the Rhubarb Sisters, taste-test rhubarb recipes, see some great artist displays, and watch enticing live theatre!

An International Lost
and Found Family Marching Band ---
"Agreeably Ridiculous!" Comprised of reunited
sibling orphans from around the world. They've
magically converged in the Heartland where they
seek meaning and healing through mysterious
marches and geometrical formations. In their
hour-long theatrical show they tell their sad, sad
story of how each was lost and found. On the
street, or in clubs, the musical family dazzle with
their deadpan, yet wacky, concert.

Summer Reading KICK-OFF:
The Lanesboro Public Library is the place to be this summer
with great books, programs, prize drawings,
story times and more. The Summer Reading
Program “One World, Many Stories,” begins
June 6th and runs through July 27th. For more
information, call (467-2649) or stop in at the
library. Participants can also pick up
information and register at the Kickoff Event.

Meet City Administrator Bobbie Vickerman, learn about
running our town, and visit the hydro-electric
plant which helps provide our power. Please
have an adult accompany children under 6
